Dear colleagues in semiotics,

Please find attached a call for papers for the 12^th conference of the Nordic Association for Semiotic Studies (NASS), to take place in Vilnius, Lithuania, 17–19 June next year. The conference shall be hosted by the Algirdas Julius Greimas Centre for Semiotics and Literary Theory. The conference papers shall address the topic of Meaning in Perception and the Senses.

The conference keynote speakers are Frederik Stjernfelt, Irene Mittelberg, Jacques Fontanille, Kay O’Halloran and Irina Melnikova. NASS will also be offering grants to graduate student participants. The deadline for abstracts is 15 January, 2021. You will find more information in the attachment.

Obviously, we are monitoring the pandemic situation that has lately gotten worse in Lithuania, but we are still hopeful that it will be good enough in the summer. We shall see.
